This Matte tape has a smooth surface and continuous adhesive. To give the best possible'look' on matte/satin/anodized/brushed finishes.

Turns any standard gloss part into a matte part if thats what you need ;. You will avoid the dreaded glossy patch look with this tape if you have any. Part that is Matte, anodized, satin, brushed or has a dull finish. This Matte/Satin tape has a clear frosted glass type effect to copy a matte/satin/dull paint job. It shows through whatever colours lay under it.

Cars/Motor bikes/Yacht's & boats/Bikes/Jetskis/kayaks/ski's & many other vehicles/components etc. Self adhesive paint protection tape. Just pull back the backing layer to expose the adhesive. The backing layer can be clear - white or other colours. If it is clear it will be hard to see but flick the backing off at one corner to expose.

Double wrap the tape for extra protection in vulnerable areas. The tape will still be invisible even if you add more layers but be easier to apply than super thick aviation tapes. No need to worry about being in for the postman. The tape comes pip boxed up in 1 length.

Tensile strength 177N / 25mm. Peel Adhesion 7.0N / 25mm. (the harder you press it down the better).

Manufacturing tolerances are +/- 10% including size. Suitable for interior or exterior use. Easy removal with no glue left behind. Easy to manipulate around curves.

Always fit the tape in a closed space (garage). Avoid any draughts or wind from open doors/windows this can cause debits on the adhesive. Ideal tape application temperature r ange is 21. ºC is not recommended because the adhesive becomes firm.

Clean the surface and remove all wax - polish - oils - dirt etc. Make sure all debits - dust - hairs - bits - fluff etc are removed just before fitting the tape.

Roughly cut the tape to the size required. The tape has a backing layer to protect the adhesive, just flick it off and peel from a corner. Due to atmospheric conditions the vinyl can expand/shrink, this can cause the backing to wrinkle this does not effect the vinyl. The tape can be easily formed / stretched around tight curves using a heat gun.

The adhesive is heat and pressure sensitive so the more you heat and press down the tape the better it will stick. The tape is easily applied either dry for small pieces or with a mix of water & 5% fairy liquid for very large pieces.

For small pieces pull the backing layer off and'roll' the tape down into position, making sure you avoid trapping air bubbles under the tape. For much larger pieces spray the item you are taping, remove the adhesive backing layer and spray the adhesive. You can slide the tape around as long as you have sprayed enough liquid on the adhesive side of the tape. When the tape is in the correct position you can squeegee the liquid from under the tape removing all the air bubbles. The tape will now be stuck into position.

These instructions won't be supplied printed to save paper and resources you can copy/paste/print if required. Don't apply in cold conditions, let the tape & item warm up before fitting and remove any condensation. Don't try to fit large pieces until you get the hang of applying smaller pieces first.

Don't try to fit complex curves and shapes until you can apply easier pieces first. Don't expect too much from one piece - Use multiple smaller pieces rarer than one big piece. Using a heat-gun will enable the tape to be stretched round complex curves. Apply the tape bit by bit - heating & laying the tape down as you go. Don't leave small'lip edges' of tape bent over edges, you need at least 10mm over the edge for the adhesive to stick. Check YouTube for extra tips - type. If you fail to prepare and rush in, it will not work as well and look like a bodge job. This is not the fault of the tape. Items will be posted on weekdays (Mon-Fri).
