Favero Electronics manufactures the Assioma power meter, a pedal-based power meter. The Assioma DUO is a dual-sided power meter with a power sensor located on each pedal. This means it can show independent left and right power, in addition to total power and cadence.

The Assioma installs like a normal pedal. No special tools or instructions needed. Just grab an Allen key and screw it on!

The Assioma is both ANT+ and Bluetooth SMART compatible and uses a rechargeable battery with a 50 hour life. Best yet, its the cheapest dual-sided power meter pedal on the market. Dual-sided power - The Assioma DUO can measure both left and right leg power.

It is also the lightest pedal. Weighting only 149.5 grams per pedal. The Assioma features a rechargeable battery with a 50 hour battery life. Provided with an advanced compensation system, the Assioma can take accurate and reliable measurements in any environmental condition, with a margin of error of only 2%. The Assioma uses Faveros IAV (Instantaneous Angular Velocity) Power.

Using special software and a built-in three-axis gyroscope, IAV takes into account the precise pedaling speed within each pedal stroke. This results in the Favero Assioma DUO having accuracy of +/- 1.0%. In addition, IAV allows you to use the Assioma pedals with oval chainrings without any impact to the accuracy of your data! Faveros gyroscope also allows you to measure cycling dynamics data.

IAV Power Phase displays the portion of your pedaling stroke in which torque is produced. In addition, your Power Phase Peak, in which maximum torque is produced, is also indicated.

IAV Rider Position displays the portion of time you are in a seated vs. This allows you to analyze how a specific position can influence your performance.
